Ok. I’ve seen a lot of ads by users on ROBLOX.
Here’s one:

Rule1: Never over-strech an image. This main image was stretched way to much. It’s hard for me to see. Never stretch like that. A little bit can be good, but too much is too much, and you should never, ever do it.

Rule2: Always say where you’re going. You shouldn’t have to hover to see where you’re going. Here’s one by Telamon.

It says where you’re going, it looks great, it hasn’t been stretched, it even has a background of a sword. that’s good. He even has a line that says “Where ROBLOXia’s best fighters chase eachother with pointy bits of steel.” That’s funny, and it describes the place pretty well. I would definatly click on that ad, even if I didn’t know who’s it was, or if I’ve never heard of the place before.

Here’s a prime example of a bad ad:

Here’s why. It says, “Click me”. The popup thing says “click”. It tells me nothing. It accually goes to World Of Bloxcraft MMORPG.

I just saw another ad. Skyscraper. Black background, red text. The red was put on first, and then the black was flooded in. Other way. Black, then text with transparent space. Paint can do that. Or, using MS Photo Editor, you can make any color transparent. That helps a lot.

ROBLOX now has a new program. Almost everyone seems to be into it, and I am too! It’s called the ROBLOX Ambassador Program! You can access it by going to your free ROBLOX profile, then clicking on Ambassador Program. It’s the third one from the bottom. Just copy the code in the text box, get it put on a website, and then submit the link to where the ROBLOX team can find it! It’s that easy! What’s the benifit of this? You get ROBLOX money! Two tickets for every day it’s up! Isn’t that great?
Not really? Well, let’s do the math. If you have your code up for a week, that’s seven days. 2×7=14. That’s fourteen tickets that just appeared out of nowhere! If you have it up for maybe a month (30 days), that’s 2×30=60. Sixty tickets just floated into your account! You could go on vacation for a month, and then you get paid for every day! The only work you have to do, is putting it up on a website.

If you don’t have a ROBLOX account, it’s really easy to make one. And the best part is, IT’S FREE!!! You don’t pay a thing. The only thing you have to pay for, is Builders Club, which is optional. You can also buy more ROBUX at the ROBLOX Central Bank!

Go to the ROBLOX website, click on Register, select your age group, either under 13, or 13+ or maybe you want a Parent Account? (Parent accounts control the chat settings, and e-mail. Don’t worry, you need the username AND password to add an account to the parent account. No one can randomly add you to their list, and block your access to chat.)
You have to then put in a username, then enter a password. It’s important that your password is secure. Nothing like: asdfjkl or abcd or password. Those are very weak passwords. You should perhaps use a code, like your student number, librairy card number, or something like that. (I wouldn’t suggest anything that someone could get a hold of if they know your ROBLOX username.)
Once you think of a good password, type it into the password box, and then type it again into the Confirm Password box. Then, put in your e-mail address. If you don’t like that idea, don’t worry. It’s perfectly safe. ROBLOX does not give out e-mails. The only thing they use your e-mail for, is to send you notices to forum threads that you choose to recieve updates about, notices that your password or e-mail address has changed, and to send you a code to a secure page on ROBLOX so you can enter in a new password.

 The ROBLOX ambassador program is an ongoing think. Just so you know, you can’t just simply spam a webpage with a ton of codes to get trillions of tickets each day. You will only get paid for just the one domain.

Well, ERRC has existed for a while now. I have created an entire office building with over 35 offices, and Next Generation Doors! It even has a cafeteria, and a server room. There is registration office, and a conference room.

I’ve worked hard, and now I have something to show for it.

There may be a considerable amount of lag, but the servers are normally slower, and this is a bigger place than most. It has over 200 decals, and over 35 doors to operate, and as if that wasn’t enough, two fans to turn!

This place is big, but it has offices for every ERRC member and even extras!

Lets take a look at the math.

Servers: 8/shelf
16 shelves= 128 server bricks = 128 decals + Door Decals = 130 decals

Offices: Lets round to 40
Door: 40 decals for all office doors
Computers: 4 decals/computer
80 Decals for the offices

My code doors: 12 Decals each
12*2=24 Decals

24+80+130=234 decals!

With all the doors, and fans, that’s about…. 52 moving parts, and with a full server, that’s just under 100! There’s also 2022 bricks to load, so it’s about the size of an average place, although I could easily bring down the brick count it I made the carpets all once piece.
That’s right. There are about 50 or more carpet bricks! I put in the walls, and then the carpet goes where it can. I could do it the cheap way and just make one carpet brick, but then it wouldn’t exactly be original, or ERRC.

Fortunatly, there’s just one script that controls all the doors.

It appears that the problem of missing your ROBLOX Studio window was just a bad install. Just un-install ROBLOX and then re-install it. That’s all you have to do, and it should be fixed.

Have you been having troubles finding ROBLOX Studio? Well, I’m looking into it, and I’ll let you know as soon as I get an answer. Builderman told me that it’s in Start>Programs>ROBLOX>ROBLOX Studio, but it’s not there. Here’s an image of what happens.

I just went to YouTube, and found MaxBenedek’s video about visiting ROBLOX HQ, and meeting the administrators and other programmers. I’m sure it was very exiting for him to meet them.

This place could use a bit of lightening up. When I went it to see what it’s like, it was pitch black, and I couldn’t see a thing! My shadows in ROBLOX Settings are on, so that might have something to do with it, but it still needs to be brighter, just by a bit so that you can see what you’re attacking.

These scores are on a scale of 1-10.

Controlability-10=It’s really simple if you know ROBLOX controls.
Building-7.5=It looks great, but it also looks oddly like Telamon’s Mission to the Moon place…
Scripting-0.5=There were no scripts exept for the ones in the tools.
Enjoyment-5=I’ll be generous, but it’s really not to enjoyable unless you are braindead and like killing everything
Laglessness (No lag)-2-6=I guess it depends on the server. But from my experiance on ROBLOX, it would be a 2 if the server had no lag at all.
Provided Instuctions-0=There were no instructions, but it was really easy to understand. Kill everything that moves.

This is a very cheap place consisting of zombies, models from Free models, and some other tools from Free Models. It’s a Free-model place. The task is to shoot the zombies.

These scores are on a scale of 1-10.

Controlability-6=It was pretty easy to play.
Building-1=There was no building by the place owner, but it was put together well.
Scripting-0=There was no scripting exept for in the zombies and the weapons, but that was pre-done.
Enjoyment-2=It’s enjoyable if you are braindead, and you like killing stuff.
Laglessness (No lag)-5=There was a lot of lag, but it wasn’t very bad either.
Provided Instuctions-0=There were no instructions, but it was really easy to understand. Destroy all the zombies in sight.
FINAL RATING-3

This place is really basic, and doesn’t provide much fun. The crates break, and at the bottom, there is a plane with guns provided. Lot’s of stuff was broken, copied, or badly placed.

Controlability-7.5 What there is to control, is pretty easy. I’m marking it like this because the place doesn’t work correctly.

Building-0.5=There is very little building in this place. It was mostly copied.

Scripting-1=There is very little scripting. It doesn’t even work correctly!

Enjoyment-1=There is no enjoyment until you get to the bottom, and also going down.

Laglessness-2.5= There is SOME lag, but not much.

Provided Instructions-8=There are instructions, but not everything is clear.
